Grouch Stole Xmas tour reunites the Living Legends

Every inch of Ace of Spades in Sacramento was packed with hip-hop fans from all over Northern California as they awaited the rare appearance of all eight emcees of the Living Legends at the 10th annual “How the Grouch Stole Christmas,” tour on Thurs., Dec. 1st.

This special anniversary sold-out a week in advance as the tour reunited all the members of the Living Legends together who have not been on the same stage since 2012. Although each ‘Legend’ lived up to their reputation, Scarub, Eligh and Sunspot Jones were the three that stood out with their flawless delivery, powerful energy and commanding stage presence.

In addition, they were joined by Evidence of “Dilated Peoples,” and also featured a special performance by Grand Tapestry– a group created by Eligh (of the Living Legends), and DJ Fresh.

Evidence’s, solo performance was incredible. He warmed up the stage and the crowd seemed to be as familiar with his flows as they were with the Legend’s tracks.

The tour is almost over, but a few select dates remain. For more information, visit: Legendary Music
