The Road to Northern Nights Music Festival 2018

Smiles emerge as we plant our feet on the grounds of the Northern Nights Music Fest in the heart of Humboldt/Mendocino County, where the California Redwoods sit high and sweet ganja trickles into our noses. Thousands will be joining in celebration of the sixth annual Northern Nights Music Festival (NNMF) July 20-22, 2018. If you haven’t peeked at the full lineup, you’re guaranteed some groovy warm vibes heading your direction. We have some heavy hitter headliners featuring Emancipator, Mr. Carmack, Justin Martin, Sage The Gemini, and Thomas Jack. Aside the legendary (BADASS) headliners, expect the frequencies to remain strong with sets from Ardalan, Brownies & Lemonade, and Walker & Royce.

NNMF isn’t just curating unique experiences surrounding the beauty of authentic music or creating platforms for diverse underground artists, you’re offered a full experience with days full of swimming in the banks of the South Fork Eel River, guided yoga sessions in the mist of the majestic Redwoods, meeting and forming relationships with cannabis advocates and connoisseurs alike, and creating bonds with friends whether camping or glamping. I’ll be sulking sun while cooling down, bumping tunes in the flamingo blow-up in the waters. It will be so exciting seeing what the staff and crew has up their sleeve this year- as an avid festival goer, I could only imagine the burning authenticity of art this year in these redwood forests.

There’s a little over a week to go before one of the world’s most stunning outdoor festival venues, Cook’s Valley Campground fills with beautiful free flowing vibes. NNMF guaranteed to shed some light and show some love the weekend of July 20-22. Tickets are available online here https://www.northernnights.org/tickets/ or can be picked up at the following Mendocino/Humboldt County local retailers: One Log Tree Lounge Dispensary, Area 101, Humboldt Republic, Wildberries Marketplace, and People’s Records [NNMF Press]. Can’t wait any longer? Make sure you follow NNMF on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat to ensure you don’t miss anything too juicy! As a first time go-er, I can’t wait to explore the beauty that will be in store for me as an exploring journalist- I’ll see you beautiful beings this year in the Redwoods!!
