Taking Back Sunday madedamnsure to give Sac a show

Back to back sold out shows is an amazing accomplishment for any artist! Let’s recap the Taking Back Sunday show on the first day.

Many bands hardly reach a decade together, but not Taking Back Sunday! They are currently on their 20th anniversary tour, which made a two-night stop at Ace of Spades on Tuesday and Wednesday. The two-night sold-out spectacle was supported by The Maine for an amazing set of performances that had many fans singing, screaming, and losing their voices towards the end of the night.

At the beginning of the set, lead singer Adam Lazzara explained to the fans that they will be performing the entire debut album, “Tell All Your Friends.” After TBS played classics “Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut from the Team)” and “You’re So Last Summer,” the tour manager came on stage with a coin. Lazzara told the audience that heads will be for their album “Where You Want To Be” and tails will be “Louder Now.” The coin landed on heads and TBS performed the rest.

As the band promotes their greatest hits album, ‘Twenty,’ they have mentioned this has been the first year in their career they are fully booked with touring, which goes to show just how much this band has meant to so many fans throughout a special trailblazing career.
