Party Up with DMX

On the “It’s Dark and Hell as Hot” 20 year anniversary tour, DMX stopped by the House of Blues in Chicago.

After a year in prison, DMX was released in January for tax evasion. Since then, DMX has been out on the road celebrating his debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. The audience was very hyped and ready for him through the show. Leading up to his show, the crowd screamed out DMX, DMX multiple times! When the lights turned off and the DJ stopped playing, the crowd went nuts. Seconds later, DMX cam on stage and started rapping to “We Right Here.” In the middle of the performance, DMX climbed onto the larger speakers on the left side of the stage and performed “Ruff Ryders Anthem.”

He went on to play his best music including “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” and “Party Up (Up in Here)”. He thanked all of the fans for the love and support and ended the night with “Prayer.” It was amazing to see that 20 years later, DMX can still pack the crowds with his music.
