Rebelution and Protoje Tour stops in Chula Vista

The Good Vibes Summer tour has begin! Rebelution will be stopping in Chula Vista at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 15, 2019. Openers will include Protoje and Durand Jones & the Indication.

The tour starts at Villa Hispana At Expo NM in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 13. Rebelution then follows a show in Flagstaff with a trip to California that includes stops in Chula Vista, Santa Barbara, Fresno, Avila Beach, Sacramento and Berkeley. The Pacific Northwest portion of the run features visits to Bend, Boise, Eugene, Redmond (Washington) and Missoula ends June.

Rebelution’s second leg of the summer begins at Philadelphia’s Metropolitan Opera House on July 31. From there, the tour hits Boston, Portland (Maine), Asbury Park, Asheville, Baltimore, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Charleston and St. Augustine, Florida. The band ends the Eastern portion of the run in Cocoa, Florida on August 16. Rebelution then headlines Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on August 24, plays Mesa (Arizona) on August 29 and concludes the tour with two nights in Las Vegas August 30 – 31.

Oje Ken Ollivierre, popularly known as Protoje, is a contemporary reggae singer and songwriter from Jamaica. His mother is Jamaican singer Lorna Bennett, best known for her 1972 rendition of “Breakfast in Bed”. His father is a former calypso king from the island nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. In 2018, Protoje released his latest album “A Matter Of Time.”
