Bloe Interview x Performance (Video)
Untitled from themashup on Vimeo.
Bloe goes hard not only to rep his city but to stake his claim on his position in the independent world! We caught up with Bloe before and after his performance to talk about his upcoming projects.
Bloe, a native Sacramento musician, has been involved with Hip Hop for almost two decades. Musically, he is a two headed monster known as Bloe, the emcee, writer, and performer, and Blozart, the producer. Bloe first reached musical acclaim while in the group Verbatum, which consisted of himself, his sister, Tenashus, and their long time friend, DJ Epik. Verbatum created quite a buzz regionally in 2000 with the release of their debut album “Sacrifice”, which Bloe wrote and co-produced. In the late 1990’s, Verbatum performed over 250 shows, won a SAMMIE (Sacramento Area Music Award) in 1999 for best Hip Hop group, and were spotlighted as up and coming artists in 2000 by nationally distributed Hip Hop magazine “THE SOURCE”.
