Social media has changed the way people create, discover, listen to and share music. Sites like Pandora, Last.fm, YouTube, iLike, and YourSpins put its users at the helm allowing them to rate, interact, distribute, and even remix music.
Hosted by Sacramento Social Media Club (SMCSac), “Social Media Rocks” is a free event geared towards helping local bands and musicians leverage social media tools from production to promotion.

- Virtual street teams: Social media tools for music event promotion
- Vimeo killed the radio star: Importance of online music videos
