Ana Tijoux drops new visuals for her single “Sacar La Voz” off her third solo album La Bala. This album goes deep into the social movement that’s going down in Chile right now and has been going on since early 2011. Political activists have took to the streets in marches, protests and even occupying schools by students demanding free education and defending Mapuche land which is rightfully theirs but is being taken from them by the government. It’s always good to see artists like Ana support a cause that’s so important to the future of their own tierra. Major props to Ana for being the voice of the under represented. The force is strong with her.

Will the real Aesop please stand up?

After taking a few years off the Rhymesayers’ veteran Aesop Rock is back with his new highly anticipated album Skelethon. Not to be confused with the o.g. Aesop of Living Legends or A$AP Rocky, this dude here is definitely in a class of his own. If you you grew up listening to Hip Hop in the late 90′ early 00′ then you’ll know what the F I’m talkin bout and for you new schoolers this was a time during in Hip Hop that needed something fresh and new to take us out of the Jiggy Era (Google if you must). It’s nothing less then Legendary Music! All eight members of Living Legends unite to give you a new track “Trojan Horse” mixed into compilation with the best Living Legends songs. This is the first song that the crew has released since 2008’s “The Gathering” album. The Legends will also be playing two shows this April, the first is the 7th Annual Paid Dues Festival on April 7, 2012 at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, CA and the second is on April 20, 2012 at House of Blues in San Diego, CA.
